侗族聚落富有浓郁的地方民族特色，蕴含着深厚的文化内涵，因而极具研究的价值。通过对侗族聚落及其选址、形态的介绍，进一步剖析了文化与聚落间的关联，为了解侗族聚落的文化艺术价值提供一些线索，并以期有益于现代人居环境的创造。

Dong village is very valuable for research work because of its special regional and national character and rich cultural implication. In this paper

some information about the location

form and features of Dong village is given. Then

the relationship between the culture and the settlement is analyzed

which provides a clue for understanding Dong village and will be beneficial to creating modern human settlements.
