Stability investigation during shield tunneling in soft soil by model test
“In the field of stability research for shield tunneling in soft soil layers, the TJ-TBM2015 multifunctional micro tunnel excavation test platform has been successfully developed. By simulating ground loss and power control system, continuous dynamic mechanical excavation of shield tunnels has been achieved. By conducting excavation tests under three different working conditions, monitoring surface settlement deformation and soil stress changes, studying soil stability characteristics, and providing solutions to the stability problems of shield tunneling in soft soil layers.”
