    • Experimental study on shear behavior of energy pile-soil interface affected by temperature

    • In the field of foundation engineering, soil samples from a construction site in Chongqing were used to study the variation law of the mechanical properties of the pile-soil contact surface affected by temperature. By modifying the traditional direct shear apparatus and conducting indoor geotechnical direct shear tests, the influence of single and cyclic temperature changes on the mechanical properties of the pile-soil contact surface was analyzed. The results indicate that the shear strength of the energy pile soil interface is greatly affected by temperature, and the temperature cycling effect is significant under low normal stress. This study provides important reference for considering temperature factors in pile foundation engineering.
