Simplified method for thickness design of ecological soil covers in northwest China
“The northwest region of China has borrowed the method of designing ecological soil cover layer thickness from non humid areas in North America, but there are problems such as multiple parameters, cumbersome calculations, and neglecting climate differences. Experts propose a simplified design method based on the climate and water holding characteristics of the northwest region, and verify its reliability through numerical program analysis, providing a new solution for solving the problem of covering layer design.”
