Calibration of relative density for dense sand using CPTs under high stresses
“In the field of geotechnical engineering, this study proposes an empirical relationship to predict the relative density of dense silica sand based on stress level and cone tip resistance, addressing the lack of in-situ or model test results for cone penetration tests in deep, dense sand layers under high overburden stresses. Expert xx developed the empirical equation, which provides solutions to solve the problem of predicting the relative density of dense sand, stress level and cone resistance.”
