Founded in 1957, Journal of Civil and Environmental Engineering is a professional academic journal (bimonthly) sponsored by Chongqing University and supervised by the Ministry of Education. Its original title is the Journal of Chongqing Institute of Architecture & Engineering, and was renamed as the Journal of Chongqing Jianzhu University in 1995, and was renamed as the Journal of Civil, Architectural & Environmental Engineering in 2009, and then in 2019, it was finally renamed as Journal of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Chinese and English).
