摘要:In this paper, the concept of urban fringe is introduced and the problems in society, economy and ecology that the urban fringe is facing are analyzed. The policy, participant system and method of planning for development of urban fringe is discussed from three aspects as: idea, system and technique of planning. The compromised mode of development combining scattering and growing, the updating of the community organization and corresponding flexible means of planning is presented.
摘要:During thousands of years, the Chinese traditional architecture has almost followed only one pattern-the courtyard one. In this paper, the ideal living mode of "Tian ren he yi"(unity of the heaven and human beings) is expatiated. Then, the response of courtyard to this living mode is analyzed and the origin and signification of courtyard are discussed. At the end, how to keep and develop the vitality of traditional courtyard in modern times is investigated.
摘要:In the arrangement of traditional settlements, the construction of surrounding space is governed by a clear concept, guiding ideology, purpose, principles and methodology of planning with due emphasis on the rational relations among the internal mechanisms of ecological, material and spiritual space in the structure of surrounding space. In this paper, based on the analysis of the interrelation of spatial systems, the space of traditional courtyard abundant in primitive simplicity and liveliness, natural vitality and human emotions is discussed.
摘要:In this paper, the problems to be studied and solved after China entered the "Aging Society" are presented. Then, based on analysis of the living mode of aged, the complex mode of providing for the aged by combining the family supporting with social supporting is presented. Finally, to study, design and construct the housing suitable for the complex mode of providing for the aged, the welfare building and recreation center for aged is suggested. This paper will play an important role in investigation of mode of providing for the aged with China's character and promoting the construction industry to meet the needs of aging society.

摘要:The existing problems in calculation approach for multi-story and high-rise steel frame structure are summarized. As the shearing deformation is considered, the analysis methods for steel frame structure are put forward based on the structural ultimate bearing capacity, which is on the basis of second order inelasticity analysis for steel structure. In the approach, the tangent module brought forward by Bleich, F. is used, the second-order refined plastic hinge method presented by Liew, J. Y. R. is modified.
摘要:Adopting the element SOLID65 and LINK8 in the general finite element analysis software ANSYS and fiber model beam-column element based on finite element flexibility method respectively, the comparative analysis of the cross, L and T-shaped RC columns under compression, bending, shear and torsion with flange width-thickness ratio of 4:1 is carried out. The applicability of plane section assumption in the nonlinear analysis is discussed primarily, which shows that it is feasible on the whole for shaped RC columns with flange width-thickness ratio equal to or smaller than 4:1.

摘要:Some problems about ventilation in extra long highway tunnels have been discussed in this paper. The ventilation modes and geometry parameters of longitudinal blow-suction ventilation of Xuefengshan Tunnel in Hunan Province (7 000 m) have been studied and calculated. Based on this, the general design, principle design, technical design and relative structural design of ventilation for the tunnel have been successfully done.
摘要:Some conclusions were drawn from two groups of in-site tests on concrete pile composite foundations. In the tests, it was found that the pressure under the rigid loading slab is different, in which the pressure under the center of the slab is the less and under the edge of the slab is the biggest. The pile-soil stress ratio is not a constant; it increases with the adding of the load. Most of the pile-soil ratio vary from 9 to 13 in these tests and the load that the piles share can be more than seventy percent of the whole load. It was proved that the bearing capacity of the concrete pile composite foundation is high with a little settlement, so it will be used more and more in the future.
摘要:The nutrition for the bacteria in the standing storage water changes gradually from plentiful to deficiency. The bacteria adopt a series of self-organization to adapt the sub-nutrition environment with forming the following characteristics: 1) Decreasing the metabolic level, slowing down the breeding velocity; 2) Enlarging the utilization ability for different kind of material; 3) Reducing the bulk and increasing the specific area; 4) Presenting in the form of bio-film, 5) Strengthening the resistance. To ensure the water quality security of long-term storage water, these characteristics should be paid attention to when solving the issue of water quality deterioration for the storage water.
摘要:Yulin River is the major secondary stream of Three Gorges Reservoir Area. According to the requirement of "The Prevention Plan of Water Pollution in Three Gorges Reservoir Area and the Upper Areas (2001-2010)", the water environment pollution in Yulin River valley should be controlled. In this paper the reason of the water pollution is analyzed through investigation and evaluation on the present situation of Yulin River in North Chongqing area, and then a proposal on the prevention and cure measure of water pollution of Yulin River is presented.
摘要:With the comprehensive harnessing the Yulin River in Chongqing, the harnessing model of the secondary rivers in Three Gorges Reservoir Area is discussed. It is believed that as for the comprehensive harnessing the water environment, the valley should be considered as a unit based on the whole ecosystem in the valley and the comprehensive consideration of the factors, influencing the ecology, resources, economy is needed in planning, protecting, improving and utilizing the water environment, in order to realize the sustainable development of the water environment in the valley. Moreover, the object, principles, measures of comprehensive harnessing the water environment in the valley were given.

摘要:In this paper, the correlative factor of ecological sub-zone, especially the correlative requirement of water use is studied. The role of the specialty of water supply and drainage in an ecological sub-zone is defined. In the light of the knowledge of water supply and drainage specialty, a new design idea for design of outside drainage network in living sub-zone is introduced. There are a lot of suitable conditions of such design to meet the water demands of ecological sub-zone in Chongqing.
摘要:In recent years, more and more people pay attention to the pollution and destruction of water resources. Due to lack of administrative law and civil law, it is necessary for the criminal law to deal with the water problems. In this paper, the necessity and shortage of protection of water resources by the criminal law is discussed. Then, based on the current criminal law, in this paper, some beneficial suggestions with the water liability principle are proposed. The criterion by which to decide whether a person violates the criminal law or not as well as the water criminal object and the water criminal objective conditions are proposed.
摘要:In this paper, the characteristic of the plastic shrinkage cracking of the lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC) was studied under the condition of prescribed quantity of cement and aggregate and was compared with that of the normal aggregate concrete (NC) with the same proportion of materials for the LWAC. The results suggested that the water evaporation quantity in the concrete became larger with the increase of w/c, and water evaporation velocity reached maximum value around two hours. When the water-cement ratio was low, the area of the plastic shrinkage cracking of LWAC was large and when w/c was 0.40, the area reached the maximum value and then became smaller with the increase of w/c.
摘要:There is a popular opinion that SBS can improve both high and low temperature performance of base bitumen. In this study, four kinds of SBS are used to modify three kinds of common domestic bitumen and one kind of foreign one; some final products of SBS modified bitumen are obtained. The rheological properties of SBS modified bitumen after RTFO/PAV are studied by using bending beam Rheometer (BBR), which is one of the test methods of SHRP. The results indicate that the low temperature grade of SBS modified bitumen made by physical method is at the same level as that of base bitumen. In other words, the SBS modification effect on low temperature anti-cracking performance of base bitumen still deserves to study from the meaning of rheology.

The legal nature of the tendering is an order, which is sent to the inviter by the bidder. The letter of acceptance takes effect when it is issued and meanwhile the civil engineering contract is formed.
摘要:In this paper, the management philosophy of 'governance without unwanted action' of Taoism, 'to keep balance in each aspect' of Confucianism and 'governance with laws' of legalism are firstly discussed in detail. Then, the connotations of management philosophy and management and the relationship between them are discussed. The model of the modern cubic management is briefly introduced. Finally, the application and practice of the management philosophy of Taoism, Confucianism and Legalism in the establishment of the modern management model are studied and it is suggested that the idea of variation is necessary in the application of the management philosophy of Taoism, Confucianism and Legalism.
摘要:In the construction projects, the contract, which is the most important behavior norm, determines the rights and responsibilities of client and contractor. All engineering activities aim at implementing and carrying out the articles of the contract. However, as the key component of the contract, the type of contract price determines the distribution mode of most of the engineering risk between client and contractor. In this paper, the most popular types of contract price used in the international construction projects are introduced. The advantages and disadvantages of each type and the distribution mode of the engineering risk between client and contractor are analyzed. At the end, some advice are given to the clients that they should choose the proper type of contract price and have innovation according to the characteristics of certain project and the situation of themselves.
摘要:The real estate investment trust (REIT) as a new tool of real estate investment is introduced in this paper by the way of analyzing the status quo of real estate circulation funds. The importance of developing REIT in China is analyzed. Referring to the foreign experience, the basic principles, classification of REIT and the different characteristics for the investors and the real estate companies are introduced. The difficulties in developing REIT in the capital market and in the investment market in China are discussed. The countermeasures to deal with the situation are presented. REIT is valuable in forming the real estate investment market and healthy development of real estate.

Some feasible proposals for the development of domestic public project purchasing by invitation to bid are presented.
摘要:Construction site is noted for its dense population, high mobility of construction workers, hard working and poor living conditions. Therefore, during the SARS spreading period, the local government put the construction site into the strictly control list in view of the outbreak of SARS. Some contractors were punished because of their poor measures taken for controlling the SARS. Under the SARS attack, for the construction firm, it is necessary to have good site environment control. The environment benefit and economical benefit due to site environment management have been elaborated in this paper. The legal duty of the contractor is also explored in view of related laws and regulations. The management framework and site environment practice are discussed in detail.
摘要:The firm governing is a structure with a board as its core, and its goal is to guard the interests and rights of the shareholders and related people thru supervising the management under the condition of firm's ownership and management separation. So, it is very important to know what the board structure is and whether it can work properly. Thru constructing board model and conducting theoretical and empirical analysis, in this paper, a best model of the board including the shareholders, managers and outsiders is proposed. In order to improve the efficiency of the board, attention should be paid to the following: composition of the board, separation of board director and general manager and the incentive scheme to outside board members.
