等离子体表面处理对超高分子量聚乙烯纤维表面能的影响

UHMW-PE纤维经等离子体进行表面处理后
极大地改善了纤维与环氧树脂基体间的粘接性能。本实验通过对处理前后的纤维表面能变化的研究
从浸润的角度对粘结性能改变的机理作了第一步讨论。结果表明:等离子体处理大大提高了纤维的表面能
从而使得纤维具备了粘接性能改善的前提条件——能被环氧树脂所浸润。
Abstract
The fibre-resin adhesion has been reinforced by plasmatreatment on ultra-high molecular weight polythlene(UHMW-PE)fibres.This paper reports a study of the mechanism of the adhesion from thechanging of the surface energy.The experimental results show the surfaceenergy of the fibres has been greatly increased for plasma treatment andthus meets the prerequisite of fibre-resin adhesion.The fibres are comple-tely rinsed in the epoxy matrix.
