摘要

构造地质学对走向断层造成的地层重复，缺失一直沿用Ｃ．Ｍ．Ｎｅｖｉｎ的方法判断，此法比较繁琐。用以下法则可使其简捷：走向断层横剖面上如果上升盘地层扬起，则地表地层缺失；反之，如果上升盘地层倾伏，则地层重复。

Abstract

In the structural geology

we have long continued to use the method of C.M.Nevin to determine the stratigraphic duplicate and incompletement caused by the strike fault

the method is complicated and trivial.So using the following law could make it simpler than before:if the stratum of the upthrown side raises up on the strike fault

the surface stratum is incomplete

on the contrary

if the stratum of the upthrown side slopes down

then the surface stratum is duplicated.
