This paper based on the relationship between the natural geographic environment of the city and its form

analyses the effect of the Three Gorges reservoir on the city form in this area. The author believes that the round and ribbon form of the city in this area will be broken

and the group and ribbon group and constellation forms will be developed. It is pointed out that this is because of the diversity of natural environment so as "design with considering the nature".
