摘要

摩崖佛寺是佛教石窟寺的晚期形态，是石窟寺传入中国后在中国本土文化及建筑体系的影响下其空间形态由封闭逐渐走向开敞的这一历史进程的产物。从石窟建筑空间发展演变的历史进程追溯了摩崖佛寺这一类型建筑的产生过程；结合巴蜀地区的历史文化背景，论述了巴蜀地区摩崖造像的历史源流及摩崖佛寺的建制。

Abstract

Cliff-side Buddhist temple is the latest form of Buddhist cave temple.It is the result of a change from close cave space to open cliff-side space under the influence of Chinese civil culture and local architectural system.This article inquires the origin of the cliff-side Buddhist temple as well as its formation in Ba-Shu area considering its historical and cultural background.
