摘要

在把握历史文化名城的概念及其内涵的基础上，结合我国历史文化名城保护的现状，对历史文化名城保护所存在的城市空间结构类型与经济发展速度、旅游开发与古城保护、原真性与假古董、公众参与制度与公众保护意识、名牌效应与制度完善等矛盾和问题做出了简要的分析和论述，并在文章的最后提出了解决的对策。

Abstract

On the foundation of lucubrating the concept and connotation of the historic cultural towns

this paper analyzes the contradictions and problems for their protection briefly.The main contradictions and problems are as follows: the relationship between the types of city space structure and the rate of economic development

the progress of tourism and the historic city protection

the authenticity and the false curio

the system of public participation and the public's protection consciousness etc.Finally

it presents some countermeasures for those problems given above.
